Ages 18+. Who creates software and how does it really work? What’s the difference between hardware, firmware and software? What exactly is code? Get answers to these questions in a basic introduction to computer software, software engineering as a career, and the software development life cycle.

Class provided by Joe Del Rocco and his nonprofit foundation, Cacti Council, founded by a group of educators whose main mission is to promote critical and creative thinking concepts and disciplines in education, industry, commerce, civil service, and other areas of public and/or social import through STEM activities and related disciplines.
