Ages 18+. Did you know that the first computer programmer was a woman born in 1815 and that the word 'computer' used to refer to a human who calculated for a living? In truth, humans have been computing for thousands of years. Dig into the history of computing, from ancient times to Silicon Valley.

Class provided by Joe Del Rocco and his nonprofit foundation, Cacti Council, founded by a group of educators whose main mission is to promote critical and creative thinking concepts and disciplines in education, industry, commerce, civil service, and other areas of public and/or social import through STEM activities and related disciplines.
