How it Works
Looking for ways to stay busy and keep learning with your little one over the summer? Designed by a local educator and WPL librarians to guide parents in hands-on summer learning. Sign up for our free Summer Camp at Home program to receive a workbook full of activities for the whole family and have a chance to win special nature-themed prizes!
Eligibility:
Available for children Ages 3-8
Participants or caregivers must be Winter Park Library Cardholders.
Prize winners must be able to pick up their prizes in person. Prizes will not be mailed. If a prize cannot be picked up, another winner will be selected.
Guidelines:
- Complete activities from all five themed weeks of the workbook.
- Bring your workbook to the youth services staff to receive stamps for each section.
- After completing all five weeks, fill out the bottom of your completed badge page.
- Submit the page to the library for your chance to win!
Going away for the summer? Unable to come in person to the library? No worries! Simply mark off your completed sections and email a photo of your completed badge page to emartinez@winterparklibrary.org to be entered into the prize drawing at the end of the summer. You do not need to come into the library to participate, but prize winners must pick up the prize in person at the end of the summer.
Children signed up for Summer Camp at Home can also see youth staff on the days of our Summer Spotlight events on select Thursdays for an extra prize while supplies last. See our event calendar for specific dates.
Badge worksheets must be completed and submitted either in person or by email by July 26th. Prize winners will be drawn from participants who submit completed badge worksheets on July 28th.
