Please join us for the Ceremonial Book Transfer Story Stroll on December 11th, 2021, with a poster of your favorite book.

The Winter Park Library Book Bike will bike from 460 E New England Avenue to the MLK Park Playground parking lot with the first items to be returned to the new Winter Park Library. From there, the items will be handed off to the Ceremonial Bookkeepers and a procession of the Book Bike, Bookkeepers, and Storybook Stollers will commence.


To participate in the Ceremonial Book Transfer Story Stoll please meet the Winter Park Book Bike in MLK Park Playground parking lot at 9:00 A.M. on December 11th, 2021, with your Take and Make Storybook Posters. Feel free to bring the whole family, as parking will be reserved for all registered Storybook Stroll participants.


The Ceremonial Book Transfer and Storybook Stroll will begin at 9:00 A.M. led by the Winter Park Library Book Bike and the Ceremonial Bookkeepers. The Story Stroll will proceed through MLK park, ending at the front entrance to the Winter Park Library and Events Center at 10:00 A.M. as the first items are returned to the library by the Ceremonial Bookkeepers and the Ribbon Cutting is performed.

Pictures will be taken at the Ribbon Cutting, this will include Stroybook Stroll participants.

Snacks will be given, please note any food allergies within your registration.

Total distance from the MLK Park Playground parking lot to the Winter Park Library and Events Center is 0.3 miles.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Masks and social distancing procedures are recommended.
