Celebrating Winter Park High School's Top Scholars

Winter Park Library Celebrates WPHS' Top Scholars. For 26 years, The Winter Park Library has had the pleasure of hosting a lunch to recognize and honor the top scholars of Winter Park High School. Funded and designed by Kenneth Murrah, this event exists as a way to amplify the academic achievements of students in the broader community. Presented by the Library’s Board of Trustees, the top ten scholars were celebrated with lunch and special guest appearances from Mayor Phil Anderson, School Board Member Angie Gallo, WPHS Assistant Principal Paul Wilhite and administrative staff. Each student was matched with a Library board member or staff member who shared the student’s achievements and academic goals with the invited families and guests and then presented them with a book they chose to inspire them. Shown below are the student honorees and the book they received. We wish these incredible students the best of luck in their future endeavors!
