Check out our new and exciting Toy Library, generously funded by a Winter Park Health Foundation grant. Winter Park Library now allows families to borrow and try fourteen different toys for ages six months - 5 years. Carefully researched by our librarians, these toys will help children build critical developmental skills such as hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and color and shape recognition through play. Find available toys on the shelves near the Youth Services desk.
Want to stay up-to-date on the evolving world of technology? Sign up for Tech Tuesdays with Adam at the Library. Lectures will cover a wide range of current technology topics pertinent to content creators and everyday users. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the material, providing you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a tech expert. The next class is on January 10.
At the heart of the Winter Park Library, Storytime is a chance for children and their caretakers to sing, dance, and play while learning early reading skills. Enjoy new storytimes that will be added to our event calendar this year. Look out for: Saturday Stories, Cuéntame una Historia, and ¡Música, Música, Música!
The Library introduces a Conversational Spanish Series this semester. Learn the basics of conversational Spanish in this interactive course for beginners. To enroll, sign up for the first session, which will be held on February 3, 2023.
